A trained sonographer will perform your ultrasound with some gel and a small handheld tool called a transducer. Some preparation may be required before your scan including fasting and/or drinking water to fill your bladder. Exact preparation requirements will be given to you when you book your appointment.
Results: A Radiologist (a doctor trained to interpret scans) will review your images and provide a report of the result to your referrer. Your referrer will then discuss the result with you.
