Health insurance

Southern Ultrasound is affiliated with Southern Cross Health Insurance and nib. If you have health insurance, you may be able to claim part or all of the cost of your scan, depending on your policy and the reason for the scan. Please check your policy details before your appointment.

ACC

Southern Ultrasound is an ACC registered provider. ACC may apply for injury-related imaging services where there is a valid claim. Body composition scans are self-funded. For DEXA bone density scans, please confirm funding or insurance details with our team when booking.

Community Services Card

If you hold a Community Services Card, please let us know when booking so we can advise whether any concession applies.
